Early entry
As part of our Festival of Blossom celebrations, we are offering free early entry to Mompesson House for those who require a quieter environment. Early entry starts half an hour before opening times.

There are ten spaces free for those who need a quieter environment to be able to enjoy themselves and one or two adults who are accompanying them.
Mompesson House will be open half an hour earlier than usual, with volunteers stationed in two to three of our rooms happy to answer any questions you may have.
Early entry is limited to the house, garden, toilets and bookshop. The tea-room will be open from 11 when regular opening hours apply to the house.

Entry will be at the front door. A member of staff will greet you and ensure you have signed up for early entry.
- Accessibility
There are two spaces for Blue Badge holders in front of the property. Please phone the property in advance if you require one of these spaces. The house is accessible via a ramp. The Entrance Hall, Small Drawing Room, Large Drawing Room and Dining Room are accessible for wheelchairs. We can provide a tablet with images of the upstairs rooms. There is an accessible toilet.

Festival of Blossom - Arts Week
Bring a sketchbook or borrow one from Mompesson and take the time to draw, paint or even write a poem in the garden. Free botanical illustration workshops in the garden.
Festival of Blossom - collage making workshops
Join in a collage making workshop with local artist Chris Formaggia in the garden at Mompesson House. All materials will be supplied and you can join at any time.
